Buone bretelle
This place is run by a family that is really putting their heart into it. They take great care of their guests and are also very concerned for your safety. When we were there they were waiting to hear from climbers that had taken off a bit late to scale the Torre Triest (luckily they called later and said that they had aborted the attempt). Food was especially nice at lunch. Dinner and breakfast are above standard. Rooms are smallish but perfectly fine it seems not all rooms have outlets (ours had)
The new owners of the rifugio are really friendly. The location of the rifugio is so nice, from the sunny terrace you can enjoy the mountain view. Last but not least, I got the best meal I had while hiking the Alta Via 1.

On the other side the dinner was ok and breakfast not great plus the owner kept my passport at checkin until I had paid the bill after dinner. In 20+ years of trekking and staying in huts in Nepal, Italy, France, Switzerland, Morocco and other places this is the first time this has happened. An average rifugio with good staff.
