Description
Located in BGC, this coffee shop offers top-notch coffee and comforting brunch options. While some were let down by the food quality, others found the beef short rib and chicken and waffles to be standout dishes. The creme brulee cappuccino and hot chocolate are must-tries. The hipster ambiance, good WiFi, and friendly service make it a popular spot for regulars. The breakfast platters are highly recommended for a filling and delicious meal any time of the day. Overall, a cozy and inviting spot for a satisfying brunch experience.

If you want to have brunch then this is the place. Love their coffee and the breakfast platters are so filling and so good. Their bacons are almost perfect, eggs are fluffy and pancakes are to die for. Will come back again with the family this time.
I loved the french toast, its the best french toast I ever had in manila so far. I also enjoyed the salad with prosciutto.
I read some reviews of the restaurant before I went there to meet some friends. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. We ordered the bacon which supposedly was very good. It was tough and not good at all. We got two orders but didn't finish it. We all just tried a piece and nobody liked it. I got the crab cake. It's thick & too dense. Not good either. We also tried the crab fat pasta. Not very good either. The salad was ok. Otherwise, I doubt if I will be going back. Sad that it didn't live up to expectation.
I was eagerly anticipating the opening of this restaurant. I often visit the BGC area and have tried the nearby breakfast places, but was getting tired of the typical offerings. When Single Origin finally opened, I knew I had to try their food and coffee. I was impressed by the portion size of their beef short rib, which was cooked perfectly and incredibly tender and juicy. Their chicken and waffles, a popular dish, also did not disappoint with its crispy and juicy chicken and golden waffles. Their creme brulee cappuccino and hot chocolate were also exceptional. Keep up the good work! Breakfast is indeed the most important meal of the day.
This place is a 5 minute walk from my office and has become my go to location when I want a good cup of coffee. Best cup in BGC, and easily one of the best in the entire metro. The place is your classic hipster coffee shop, with cool music playing (think Nina Simone, Belle and Sebastian, etc.), quirky mis-matched chairs, lots of wood and brick, high ceilings, black metal work, good wifi, etc.Food is also nice (a tad expensive though for what you get) -- with my fave being their homemade corned beef and anything waffle. Service is really good -- though it might be because I'm here every week (I remember when their service wasn't as spot on as it is for me now, so mileage may vary). Bottom line it's got great coffee and nice food, in a very relaxing and comfortable setting. Highly recommend.
