This is the kind of food you want if you want something local, SU-TU-KIL: SUGBA (grill) TUWA (soup) KILAW (raw fish) As the theme of the place is home-cooking by the sea, don’t expect something fancy with the place. It’s like you’re in a hut. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tuna Republik Tagbilaran:
Sweet and sour 6/10, Sisig 1/10, It looks like sisig but does not taste like it at all, its soaked in oil, salty, and I can barely taste the tuna meat. It was my first time and not really a good first impression View all feedback.
They have delicious food with affordable prices. Each tuna variations of traditional and common dishes tasted authentic and will make you question whether you're eating fish or not. It's a shame their customer service needs improvement, especially the cashiers who seems irritable and impolite.
Our driver recommended thus place to us on our way to Panglao. I'm not a big fish eater but my wife and her family are Filipino so they know good fish dinners. They all agreed it was great food. All they serve is tuna but in many different ways. My wife ordered one of everything, there was even some breaded and fried tuna chunks that I liked served with French fries. I also liked a tuna BBQ on a stick. I would definitely recommend this place and will probably be back when we're in the area.

Foods are great, but the staff do needs improvement.
Fantastic food and service! They have some of the best grilled tuna I've ever had and every dish has such a great flavor profile. Staff are friendly and welcoming as well! Highly recommend this place to everyone!
