I love the ambiance, plants inside made the place cool to the eyes. Breakfast was my fav longanisa, egg with watermelon and brewed coffee. The owner is accomodating and friendly View all feedback.
What Jerry T doesn't like about Jj's Seafood Village:
A simple comfortable place where you can just celebrate family events. The place has a parking lot, foods are okay but the staff are great. People there are very helpful and friendly. It's a place where you can just to without worrying about anything else. View all feedback.
The food was decent, although, like much of the cuisine in the Philippines, it lacked some complexity in flavor. The portion sizes were generous, and interestingly, we were the only customers in a restaurant with a high staff-to-customer ratio. The crispy prawns were the standout dish; they were whole prawns, which took me by surprise, and they were tasty—even the legs and head were enjoyable. The steamed fish was nice but a bit bland. The scallops were good, but not especially memorable. On the plus side, it provided good value for the price. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but nothing particularly remarkable.
On a positive note, the staff were incredibly accommodating, which is why I would rate this experience higher than just one star. The hotel is conveniently located just 100 meters from the pier. Deluxe rooms are priced at 1500, while standard rooms (suitable for two people) are approximately 850, if I recall correctly.
The food took a bit longer to arrive than expected, but it was absolutely worth the wait—it was fantastic. The ambiance is warm and inviting, contributing to a delightful dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive. In terms of pricing, it is comparable to other restaurants in the area. You should definitely make a point to visit this place when you're in Bohol.
I've visited this location multiple times for workshops and training sessions, and it's a good venue for those purposes. The food is acceptable, but the drinks could use a bit more flavor. The facilities are generally nice, though they could be cleaner. Additionally, the restrooms near Gumamela Hall often lack proper maintenance, possibly because they assume guests don’t use them frequently.
This charming and unpretentious restaurant is the perfect spot for family gatherings. With ample parking, it's a convenient option. While the food is delicious, the real highlight is the exceptional staff. They are welcoming and eager to assist, fostering a relaxed environment where you can fully enjoy your experience without any worries.
