Nestled along a scenic route, this restaurant combines a blend of Western and Filipino cuisine, drawing diners in with its vibrant setting and stunning views, particularly of Taal Lake. While many dishes, including English pies and lasagna, showcase potential, inconsistency in preparation and flavor has left some patrons yearning for better quality. Despite the pricey menu and occasional service lapses, the welcoming staff and generous portions make it a notable choice for those seeking a pleasant dining experience. Diners are encouraged to explore the offerings, but perhaps with tempered expectations.

This restaurant is both elegant and inviting. The view of Taal Lake and the surrounding natural beauty create a peaceful atmosphere throughout the entire establishment. Enjoying a cup of aromatic hot coffee while taking in the picturesque scenery felt like a taste of paradise in the morning. I give this place a big thumbs up! View all feedback.
What Bethevegan dislikes about Bag Of Beans:
The mushroom pasta dish is vegan by default. The garden salad was a generous portion, perfect for sharing with the pasta. My partner and I visited the restaurant twice. The pasta was delicious the first time, but too salty the second time. The view is beautiful and it was convenient to be able to order without needing to specify no animal products. New menu alert! Unfortunately, there are no vegan options available anymore. Updated as of May 2022.

The restaurant is conveniently located along the main road. The menu offers a combination of Western and Filipino dishes, with a heavier emphasis on Filipino cuisine. I asked for a dish without shrimp, so the kitchen prepared grilled vegetables and pasta in garlic and olive oil for me. The coffee and bread are reliable options. While they have snacks available, vegans may not find enough options for a complete meal.

Beautiful place to relax and chat with friends, family and colleagues.

I really enjoyed the food and place is really quiet, I will come back soon; and.. I like the pizza so much.
