The roof terrace invites you... read more In fact we were here for the bar. The hotel is furnished with great attention to detail so each room has its own distillery theme. The roof terrace invites you to linger, the bar with its countless whiskeys is sure to make every lover happy. But you should have a slightly thicker wallet with you here good taste is (sometimes) expensive. But you get whiskeys that you can no longer or hardly ever find on the market. A real highlight! We slept wonderfully and were always lovingly looked after during the rich breakfast. We will definitely come back to one of the themed evenings.

No answers to our Email inquiries. When we managed eventually to reach someone, they all said they will call us or Email us back back but they never did it. We experienced this with a few different staff. The hotel looks very nice but in the end, we gave up.

Very solid furnishings that make the house what it is. The rooms are all beautifully appointed with a touch of a Scottish or Irish mansion. You immediately feel at home. There was no remote control for the TV in our room. No problem, but the boss insisted on a room change, that wouldn't work. It's simply unbelievable what's being done here. With its almost 800 euros of whiskey varieties, the bar is the best I have seen so far and the knowledge about all types is conveyed very well. Thank you for that because we should decide with such a selection.... Breakfast is very good and plentiful, special requests can be taken into account, you just have to ask. Yes, it is a little more expensive but that is due to the CHF. I would like to come back again. Thank you for the lovely evening.
