Their prawn crackers are absolutely incredible! I also highly recommend the sweet and sour chicken in Cantonese style. I didn’t try anything else, but these two dishes were enough to make me want to return and explore the menu further. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about N G Palace:
I'm always surprised that this place isn't busier, as the food is excellent. They offer a great selection of Chinese, Thai, and some Malaysian dishes, and the service is good. You can enjoy an all-you-can-eat option for just £16, where you select what you want from the menu and it's cooked fresh for you, rather than sitting on hot plates. Searched far and wide for a gluten free Chinese restaurant and wasn't disappointed when I ate here. As a Chinese person, I can tell you that the food was authentic and the quality was good. My kids loved the deep fried squid and duck. They even let me order a gluten free version of a classic Chinese dish beef hor fun noodles offmenu without calling ahead it's near impossible to produce this glutenfree dish at short notice unless your kitchen is fully prepared.Excellent restaurant, decor dated, but the very helpful staff and fantastic food made up for it

We dine here regularly and really enjoy the warm welcome and ambience. The menu is enormous and includes Chinese, Thai and Malayan as well as a few English dishes. The service is excellent and the food delicious

Rather disappointing. Had a take away from the restaurant. Starters ok but the main course dishes of Kalio Kentor chicken were just soggy deep fried chicken pieces that were half cooked batter dripping in fat, very very poor. The sweet and sour pork again heavily coated in mush, shame as the veg element was ok.For the price for a meal for three, very disappointed

Have eaten here many times and always found the meal excellent and good value. Owner makes you very welcome

Despite some negative reviews, this restaurant offers a friendly atmosphere, welcoming service, and an extensive menu featuring Chinese, Thai, and Malaysian dishes. Some customers rave about the authentic and delicious food, especially the gluten-free options, like deep-fried squid and duck. Although the decor may be outdated, the attentive staff and fantastic cuisine help create a satisfying dining experience for many patrons. For some, however, the main course dishes fell short of expectations, with soggy and heavily coated items. Overall, the restaurant seems to have pleased many loyal customers but may need to work on consistency and addressing negative feedback.
