The location of the restaurant is str... read more Food was ok Samoas looked frozen then deep fried, food a little over priced, £16 odd quid for a lamb tikka is a bit steep. The location of the restaurant is strange and it look a bit tired on the outside and greeted by 2 females hopping of a bus to use the rear of the restaurant as a wild toilet, it came across like a discussed service station. Service was good but was not busy at the time so was one course after another. We only went as it was down the road from the hotel we stayed at, but it appears they rely on passing trade or takeaways more. It was different to our usual Indian back at home. If I was to visit York again I don't think I would return to this restaurant

We ordered a veggie platter for 2, chicken korma, mushroom rice, and chips. Every dish was tasty, fresh, and hot. The food was served very quickly. The staff were very friendly. It had a great atmosphere and was not too pricey. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
