Tonala Mexican - Tacoma

First time trying this place out. We had the nicest waitress.. the food was very tasty and very good portions. I had the Molquijate which I could not finish but it was really good. Hubby had the carne asada and he killed it in less than 10 mins. We ordered the chicken tacos as apetizer but they came out together with the food. If we had anything bad to say, It will probably be that we wanted the apetizer to be brought up before the food.. other than that.. very good experience.

First time here. Great food and margaritas. The wait staff is fantastic! Very attentive. Restaurant is a bit loud but not so much that you can't hear. Apparently this is the place to be first Birthday celebrations...3 of them. Looking forward to going back!

This restaurant serves the best Mexican food I have ever had! While it is a bit pricey, the food is absolutely delicious. The service is excellent and the drinks are great too. You definitely get what you pay for and more. Keep up the fantastic food and hospitality. I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you.

I really appreciate quick seating at restaurants. The staff was friendly and attentive to my needs. They brought out warm chips and tasty salsa while I waited. The duck dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. This was my first visit, but I believe this will become my go-to spot for delicious Mexican cuisine.
