Ta Carbon Mexican Asadero - Tacoma

Moved to Washington from Cali 2 years ago and haven't found a Mexican spot yet. Until today great food big portions and good prices. The char on the asada and the chicken reminded me of cookouts in summer at home. Don't sleep on this place this is one of the best in Tacoma.

First time eating in the restaurant and it started out a little underwhelming. Salsa was mediocre at best, usually not a good sign in a Mexican restaurant. We ordered the mini Carbonada with 12 shrimp added and it was amazing! Flavor was fantastic and it stuffed two of us with enough left for a small lunch. Highly recommend.

Absolutely the best Mexican restaurant I have been to in the area and in a really long time. The food is delicious, the presentation is on point, and the service is great. They had an amazing happy hour for a short while after it opened, but it was too good to be true! Their prices continue to change a little as they proceed through their grown phase, but everything is reasonably priced. I highly recommend Ta’ Carbon and I’ll continue going back again time after time.

Food was good and enjoyable; had a very welcoming atmosphere, and the service was good. Would be Five stars if they had more condiments and sauces but otherwise a good place to eat at.

The lunch specials here are great. The tacos are amazing, and different from many other places. I had the chicken lunch fajitas special today, and it was more than filling. This is the type of place that lets you make Taco Tuesday an every day event!
