Shogun Sushi Japanese Express - Tacoma

Fun People, Good Food. I love when good little places like this open up. It's nothing fancy but all of the food is super fresh and prepared perfectly. Their sauces are to die for, so tasty. It's always nice when you can see right into the kitchen and it is sparking clean and they cook your food right where you can see. The atmosphere in the restaurant is a little lacking, decor-wise, but the great attitude of the people working there more than makes up for it, they are always bright and cheerful. I have gone back multiple times since this place opened, and have recommended it to many people who also say they love it.

Great Place!. I just moved to an apt. complex nearby and I thought I 'd get some takeout for dinner tonight. Best decision ever! They said 'Hi! ' as soon as I walked in, super clean place, nice decor great menu options. I got miso, spicy tuna and the philly roll. All of it was superb. They come as 8 piece rolls were made right in front of me. It was only $11 for all of it as well. Easy on the budget! They also had a great lunch deal for only $6.95, which I will definately come back for. I can 't wait to bring my husband in and try the hibachi yakisoba! If you live in Tacoma, you gotta try this place!!

Kinda skeptical because it was empty. But man this place was delicious!!!! Sushi was very fresh and tasty and my girlfriend got the combo hibachi. Everything was very delicious and the price wasn't too bad at all compared to other places. Definitely recommend if you like Japanese food.

Been coming here for years. The family that owns it is wonderful. Serving size is perfect. Steak and shrimp is a must if you haven't already.

This is the absolute best place in the world and I’m so thankful it exists. I crave hibachi all the time and the fact I can get it so easily and quickly is a blessing. The food is soooo good, the workers are angels and it’s always so clean. I really think everyone needs to come spend their money here because it’s sooo worth it. I literally went 4 times in 6 days and it was worth every penny
