Was Anonym at Quickie Too a mag?
I wanted to try this place already! I don't live in the opposite, but was finally close to trying. I ordered the South-Comfort meal and an additional order of hush weep. everything was delicious. I loved the hush puppies especially. that is a little casual comfort eating. can not wait to try other things in the menu. wish that they allowed to eat so that I had everything plated instead of in togo boxes. drove miles to try this out, but after placing my order and getting there the estimated minutes the food was being prepared, they didn’t even confirm my order yet. the place looked closed from the outside, and many people where waiting at the walk up window. for over minutes no one came to the window to help any of the customers. finally and awkwardly after hour minutes placing the order.. The vegan food here is incredible and the portion sizes are generous. Highly recommend checking this place out!
I don't typically find much to attract me to Tacoma, but the food at Quickie Too is a definite exception. Whenever I'm passing through to or from Seattle, I make sure to stop by when they're open. I wish I had planned ahead to get the 5 lbs of Mac and Yease, but I'll remember for next time. Opting for the Southern Comfort for the most variety, I was blown away by the hush puppy - it's like nothing I've ever tasted before. The greens, seitan, and gravy were all delicious, but the Mac and Yease stole the show. If you skip the Mac, are you really even living? I think not. While they were only offering online orders and pick-up at the window, we were able to enjoy our meal on the front patio on a nice, warm day. The service may not be the quickest, but every minute spent waiting is well worth it for the amazing food. This is some of the best food I've ever had - go give them some love.
Our organization, Bezos academy had a community BBQ to do a sign reveal as we changed our school name from McCarver to Hilltop to better represent the community that we serve. We wanted to include a vegan selection for our vegan families and also wanted to ensure that we use local hilltop vendors. We thoroughly enjoyed the vegan spread. The BBQ burgers were a big hit as well as the Mac and Yeeze!
Food is amazing and very big portions.
