North 47 Brewing Co. - Tacoma

This is an overdue review from my visit this past June 2023. I don’t drink alcohol anymore, so was glad to see they carry Athletic Brewing NA in a can. Nice atmosphere, good local drinking hole. I didn’t eat here and not sure they really serve food, but I think you can order from one of the places next door and bring it with you.

Beer, cider and watermelon seltzer really good. Sam poke food truck. Yum

What a great spot! The beer is super tasty and the folks that work here are on the ball and friendly making an outsider like me feel like a local. Ideal football watching and locals making one feel welcome are a great combo. Cheers and thanks to North 47! Go Hawks!

A sweet family-owned strip mall brew pub in the scenic and pricey little enclave of Browns Point. It's been open only 18 months or so but it's already a favorite local hangout. It's only twenty minutes or so from Tacoma and on the (back way to SeaTac/Federal Way and well worth the trip, if only for the tasty blonde and the surprisingly complex Hefeweisen I enjoyed on my last visit. A nice selection of varied brews, all made on-site, plus friendly owners (Stephanie is a sweetheart and a simple, casual, and inviting atmosphere make this a must-visit location for locals and those traveling thru. (Note to the hungry: they serve no food here, but you're welcome to bring your own; one hears that the Indian restaurant next door offers both traditional selections AND killer pizza.

Been going to trivia night on Thurs. The best around. The atmosphere and the staff are friendly, fun and energetic. The beer is flavorful, and the service is fast. Highly recommend.
