Marzano Italian - Tacoma

I don't have enough good things to say about it. The first time we went we didn't make reservations but they were quick to accommodate and make it work. Staff was friendly and seemingly knowledgeable. I had the carbonara because I've never had that before and wanted to try it from a highly rated place for the first time. It was so good. For the appetizer I had the brushetta which was probably the best brushetta I've ever had. My significant other and I tried to order the cheesecake only to be told they were out. The owner had made one that morning that just hadn't set right, apparently. We left without dessert but went back about a week later. This time I had their pork chop that was the special. It came with potatoes roasted in duck fat, kale, peaches. I've never liked a restaurant pork chop but this one was good. All the flavors worked. We finally got to try the cheesecake which was thick, rich, and well balanced by the lemon and berries. Service was also amazing our second time. We just moved to the area about a month ago and I think this will be our go to italian spot from now on.

St Patrick's Day Date Night! This restaurant was amazing, very kind, thoughtful, and accommodating service! Our waitress rocked! The food was awesome! Everything we tried had amazing flavor! So delicious. Truly loved our first experience at Marzanos and look forward to our next visit!

Had the most wonderful dinner last night. The staff and the service they provided was exceptional. Very helpful and friendly, able to make accommodations with the meal and help find the perfect wine. It is a small, intimate building, a former home converted to a restaurant, but despite this, it does not feel too snug. The food was exceptional! The desserts were absolutely to die for. Looking forward to returning.

If I could have rated this a thousand I would have. Hands down the best food and service in the US! This is exactly how I imagine the food in Heaven to taste like! I bet the president hasn't even tasted food this good! This was the 1st restaurant I ate at when I moved to WA and have been my favorite place since. I haven't had the same thing twice thanks to their amazing specials and haven't ever not drooled over the perfection of each meal. My dying wish would be to eat a meal from Marzon's before I die. I've given this restaurant a try several times now. Although I adore the atmosphere I haven't always felt welcome nor had exceptional service. The food is hit and miss with either a competition of favors or great ingredients but lacking in execution. The staff were either new or not very versed in the menu or wine pairings. We often get sat in the back and perhaps that attributes to poor service. Certainly willing to try again to try to find the sweet spot.
