You definitely have to order a whole pound of the mussels! They are large and absorb all the delicious flavors from the broth. The oysters were fresh as well, and the service was great too!
Upon entering this restaurant, I felt a bit uncomfortable due to the presence of homeless individuals nearby, a situation that's becoming increasingly common. I empathize with the business owner, which is why we decided to stay for a meal. We ordered the daily special, a seafood combo for $50, featuring garlic and butter. While the seafood was fresh and the portions were generous, it lacked much flavor. The service was friendly but disappointingly slow, even though we were the only customers at the time. Additionally, everything came with extra charges—50 cents for lemon, another 50 cents for dried Cajun sauce, and over 3% for credit card payments. I understand that the owner has various costs to cover, but these charges should ideally be factored into the pricing and service. Overall, I would rate this place around 3 stars. It’s not at the top of my list for return visits or recommendations. However, if you find yourself in the area craving fresh seafood, this could be a decent option.
Absolutely amazing! The reviewer who said they could drink the garlic sauce was spot on—it's extraordinary; I could have happily sipped it straight from the bowl. The oysters were delightful and completely fulfilled my craving. Everything was also fairly priced. The service was exceptional too. I can't recommend this place enough!
This is undoubtedly the top seafood restaurant in Tacoma. The flavors are amazing, and the prices are very fair. The garlic cheese fries are incredibly tasty! Additionally, all the seafood combinations are served in generous portions.
