The service was great! We had never been and the person with the cool hand tattoos was very nice and accomodating. The sundried tomato cream cheese we got for our asiago bagel was phenominal, and the drinks were a delight. We tried two of their specialty drinks mine was the Taurus and it was sweet, spiced, and creamy I loved it. What Kenze Ellis doesn't like about Curran Coffee:
Fantastic and friendly fast service! Very clean and relaxing atmosphere too! However, today was my very first stop in ever and I got a raspberry redbull w/ cream that was very good, and also a 24oz ice Gemini around 4:18ish PM, but the Gemini was almost undrinkable, to start it lacked any real flavor, there was coffee grounds in it, almost no ice it was basically warm… it was a shorter young lady with short hair maki... I had my first coffee at Curran Coffee today. It was excellent--I love the beans/roast they have.
Just moved back to the PNW from Hawaii after a 7 year absence and I really missed the early roots of the burgeoning coffee industry dating back to the early eighties when I was a barista…LOL. Emily and Jordan are young entrepreneurs that have “Hit It Out Of The Park” in Coffee-land USA , everyday that ends in “Y”, and they are located in Historic Tacoma! Keep up the great work ladies as I will continue to wear my Curran Coffee hat and direct folks to where they can get the Best Latte in the Seattle/Tacoma region and of course served with a Smile!
Love this place near waterfront. Coffee is great! Coffee tasted not too sweet compared to other coffee shops around.
Curran coffee was pretty good! If you’re looking for house-made syrups I would go elsewhere, they use monin syrup. I found the Gemini latte to be pretty sweet and would ask for 50% sweet next time. I had a really great savory pastry that I enjoyed!
Such a cute little coffee shop! Stopped here while staying in Tacoma to see Washington, and definitely hit the spot! The shop is adorable, the baristas were very friendly, and the coffee was pretty good!
