... they could also only buy at Marlene’s? or better still, the co-op, which is just a little further on the road and actually has vegan prepared meals and baked goods! unless, met market is their next option and transport is a problem, they can be better served in one of the above mentioned food shops.
If you can't find anything at Marlene's, it's worth checking out the Co-Op down the road for their vegan prepared food and bakery. If you have trouble getting to Met Market, you may have better luck at one of these grocery stores mentioned above.
