The ambience is inviting and relaxing and the food is delicious. My ceviche was great and my friend’s lomo saltado was also very good. They have delicious drinks as well and our queso helado was the perfect dessert. The restaurant itself is a little far out, but if you walk there, you’ll make space for all the marvellous food they have to offer. Our waiter, Juan, was incredibly kind, friendly and patient and was able to answer all our questions about the city.
This is a place we definitely would come back if we’re back in Tacna. The cebiche, parihuela, duck lomo, and anything else we ordered was superbly prepared. Fresh. Great ambiance and popular among locals and international visitors. We selected the Tiramisu for dessert and we recommend it.
Talk about a smashing lunch! We were a table of 12 who arrived unannounced. The staff jumped into gear and had us all seated and shaded in moments. Menu's were spread around the table and we began to read. Nibblies were produced and orders were taken. When the food was served, all of us said they would have been happy to eat any meal on the table. The only people not 100% were those who ordered cerviche because there were a range of cerviche's served as part of the nibblies. But what a feast. Fill of flavours and the colour and presentation was immaculate. I'd be more than happy to eat there any day. Next time I would try and book ahead because the place was obviously very popular.
This is some of the best food you will find in Tacna. I love Flounder in black butter and mine was cooked to perfection. You will not be disappointed.
This place, half roofed and half open air is just off the main street and a few blocks from the centre, is great! The vibe, the menu and, as you get everywhere in Peru (and from Peruvian restaurants abroad I live in Chile), great service! The food is delicious, and there’s lots of it (easy for two that do not eat much). The service is quick, kind and helpful. The vibe is fresh and lively in a modernly decorated restaurant. I recommend pisco biombi acholado, pescado al ajo and any cebiche. Enjoy!
