What User doesn't like about Sunzibar Cafe:
I used to eat here years before they really had a good and tasty food, but seems like now, the taste is not same like before. Carbonara was overcooked a bit bland the bread was chewy could not even bite on it not sure if they toast it but it was chewy, the quesadilla was ok, pepper pork was ok but never tasted like without pepper. The place it self has no exhaust inside restaurant was full of smoke (when grilling) it... View all feedback.
Food: 5 I have been a loyal customer for many years, and the food here is incredible. Some of my favorites include the Diablo, rum ribs, and their various nachos. Service: 2 The service is somewhat slow and lacks friendliness. While the staff does their job, there's no enthusiasm or warmth, which seems to be common among many restaurants in the region. They don’t appear genuinely pleased to see you— it feels very much like just another job for them. Plus, the broken air conditioning doesn’t help. Ambiance: 1 With the air conditioning broken, it gets really hot, even at night. I likely won’t dine here again as I usually opt for takeout anyway. It’s a shame because the artistic rustic decor is unique and appealing, but the sauna-like atmosphere is not conducive to a pleasant dining experience. Value: 3 Dining here offers little value because I don’t want to eat in a sauna. Many people prefer takeout to avoid the mess at home, but eating in should be enjoyable. While the food prices are reasonable, the heat significantly detracts from the overall value. If they fix the AC, the value would improve significantly; the experience is heavily affected by the overwhelming heat. Parking: 4 The restaurant has enough parking for about three cars and a few bikes. While it may not be ample for a full house, it’s decent for the location, especially considering the current sauna-like conditions.

I've been a fan of Sunzibar since 2014 and have returned many times. However, after their move to a new location, I noticed a decline in the quality each time I visited. The utensils were unclean and unsanitized, the lighting was dim, and the walls were dusty. Furthermore, the restroom was completely non-functional. While the food remains excellent, the service has deteriorated significantly. Overall cleanliness has become a major issue, and the staff seemed unfamiliar with the items on the menu that I was pointing out. What a shame!
