Everyone is extremely friendly, and you can tell that a huge amount of effort and care goes into their food. What User doesn't like about CK Cafe:
Visited for a "break" in the round trip from Brisbane to visit the historical wooden bridge at Tabulam. Small detour from the highway. Family enjoyed the meals (one GF). I enjoyed pumpkin soup but it was nothing special. Admit I was anticipating a real "country" hearty soup. I thought the serving was "small" by country standards. Tabulam is a very small, very beautiful town in an equally beautiful landscape, and it is lucky to have CK Cafe in its (I think) main street. The people running it are very friendly and clearly wonderful chefs, because the food they put out is fantastic. Definitely punching above their weight!
This Cafe is fantastic. My son and I ate here a lot on a recent holiday. The menu choices are really modern and the food tastes great. My son says the double caramel milkshakes he had at the CK Cafe are the best he has ever had.
Dropped into Tabulam to get off the main road type stops. We grabbed some breaky, it was simply nice country style cooking. Friendly staff and good coffee.
CK special pizza is one of the best ever! Definitely worth it. Have had burgers on previous visits which were excellent too!
