Selinda - Tabuc Pontevedra

For what it's worth, Selinda is the place to go when visiting Pontevedra. They serve tasty local dishes and even have pizza available. Customers pay for their orders as they go. The interior is clean, however, the staff should smile more. Other than that, it is a great place.

This was our annual trip to Pontevedra, Capiz. It was during the town festival on May 15th. Of course, we had to visit Selinda. This time, we ordered chop suey, pork sisig, bihon, rice, and water. The standout dish was the pork sisig, a favorite of ours. The staff were helpful in guiding our order and made us feel welcome, all with smiles. We also discovered that Selinda offers catering services. We arranged for them to prepare a variety of their popular dishes for a dinner at our guest house, and it was a hit! Thank you, Selinda.

Cafe Selinda is the go-to place to eat in Pontevedra. It is conveniently located on the main road between Iloilo and Roxas City, just across from the Pontevedra City Market. It is the only air-conditioned restaurant in town, with outdoor seating options as well. Customers can choose from a menu or select from their prepared meals. During our visit, we ordered the 6-Egg rolls, a small siopao, and a serving of sotanghon guisado. The restaurant has large flat screen TVs and offers free Wi-Fi. The staff was friendly and attentive. Judging by the number of customers, Cafe Selinda has become a popular spot for both locals and visitors alike.

The staff was helpful in ordering as well as making us feel welcome..all smiles. We learned that Selinda also does carry-out (catering), too. We were hosting a dinner at our guest house, so we arranged for Selinda to prepare a variety of their most popular dishes for carry-out. It (our dinner) was a success! Thank you Selinda
