I love going to that place for the nice atmosphere and the orchid shop open every weekends, the selection and varieties are quite big, so are the prices!
Only opens on weekends, and with very limited selection...Freshly baked local breads, and quite tasty local breakfast fares. Try "almojabanas" and "pan de yuca" with the "changua" soup (broth with potatoes, onions, garlic, eggs) and a cup of chocolate for a typical breakfast, for less than 4 dlrs per person...The place really lacks basic services. Seating is cramped and only wooden benches. Toilet or kitchen sanitary facilities are minimal. You may get doused in case of rain, as the roof is a scanty plastic sheeting concoction...Yes, there are birds in a primitive enclosure, and yes, there are some neat interior plants, typical of the region...
