A group of us made reservations to go to the pub on Saturday night at 6:30. We had been there before last year. Some members of our group were informed that the... read more A group of us made reservations to go to the pub on Saturday night at 6:30. We had been there before last year. Some members of our group were informed that there was not enough beef schnitzel available. The menu had pencil marks and it appeared that the roast had been crossed out, so two people decided not to order it. By 8pm, our meals still had not been served. A roast dish did arrive, indicating a mistake on the menu. I had to request coleslaw that was missing from my order, there were mix-ups with other orders, and one person even had to wait for a different dish to be made because their original order was forgotten. It was not until she inquired further that we found out the pub had a large group earlier in the day and ran out of food for us. The young waitress was visibly upset and overwhelmed. We believe the chef should have come out and addressed the situation with us personally. We will not be returning to this pub again.

Chef Helen i... read more Fantastic dining experience! The steak was cooked to perfection, the Parma was a decent size and the chicken was perfect. The pasta was also great. Chef Helen is amazing. The service was fantastic and friendly, and the new owners were great and welcoming. This old fashioned pub has a pool table and no pokie machines, making it the perfect spot for a meal. Highly recommend it!
