Made a special trip to the store to get a can of Charles Potato chips, haven't had any since 1961 when I lived in Cleveland Ohio, I get to the store and as usual the previous owner sold out, it was a warm country mom and pop country store surrounded by farm land and of course the new owner is east indian, raised the price of the chips to $18.99, so that trip was in vain because the atmosphere of the country store has... Nixon’s is a staple of Tabernacle, NJ. It’s been around forever and is consistently great. With a wide selection of unique sodas, tasty snacks, and AMAZING cheesesteaks, hoagies, burgers, and more, Nixon’s is the place you wanna go to if you’re visiting—or even just passing by.
My mom used to bring me and my brother here occasionally back when we lived in Tabernacle from 1984-91. Great place, it has changed a little since then. I revisited Nixon's in August 2019 and some remodeling had taken place some years ago. You used to go through a set of double doors and in between these doors were VHS movie rentals on both sides. It was almost like walking through a tunnel. I'll never forget that.
Excellent sandwiches, good snack selections. Large variety of fun drinks and candy's.
The best cheese steaks and if your searching for very hard to find candy from back in the day nixons most likely has it they have alot of unique items
This is a “tuna hoagie” . We paid 10$ for some leaf and tuna. Nixons used to be a good hoagie place. This is not a hoagie.
