It's a pleasant place, not only because of its location. Going beyond the traditional Hungarian csárda line, the cuisine is more bistro style, but Hungarian dishes can also be found on the menu. I ate catfish fish soup, which came in a small pot. The clear tasting, homogenous juice is sufficiently salty, with well prepared meaning: not overcooked pieces of fish (from African catfish) in the right amount. The bread served with it is fresh and crispy. The terrace offers a beautiful view of Holt Körös, every dish ordered is delicious, and great emphasis is placed on the presentation. The service and the bill were perfectly fine. Recommended place for a pleasant lunch or dinner. Still a very cool place after 3 years. Delicious food, kind, attentive service, an inimitable, magical atmosphere on the banks of the Körös. Unmissable in Szarvas!
