I absolutely love this place! Although it’s a bit disappointing that it’s no longer a true gay bar, it’s still fantastic! I came across a review that described it as "super trashy but super fun," and I can’t think of a more accurate description!
I lost my wallet at this place, and when I approached the staff about their practices, they physically kicked me out of the bar.
The atmosphere was enjoyable, and everyone, including the staff and security, was respectful and open-minded. Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews from those who seem determined to bring down a fun club. My wife and I had a fantastic time there. It’s important to remember that you can't go to a club looking for trouble; if you get kicked out due to inappropriate behavior, don’t resort to playing the race card in the 21st century. There are witnesses who can attest to what actually happened seven months ago, and your friends' fake reviews only reflect badly on you and showcase a lack of understanding.
I am 20 and was DD for my groups of friends. One of my buddies came over handing me a drink to pass to one of my other friends there. I hold the drink up looking at it nothing more and a security guard comes over saying where’s your wrist band I say this isn’t mine it’s my friends and he says you’re lying I saw you take a sip. I am outraged I get kicked out despite the fact I didn’t take a sip of alcohol. And he quite frankly ruined that hour of my night. I understand he was doing his job but he wouldn’t even listen and flat out lied or misunderstood what he saw because I wasn’t drinking that night. Otherwise it was okay despite being there for less than an hour
Took a chance and went to trexx with a group of friends even after reading bad reviews. we ended up having a great night. my drink was what you’d expect to get at a bar. the music was a 7/10 which isn’t bad, every song you were able to dance to. a fight broke out but was taken care of by security within seconds people in the crowd helped break it up too. i do recommend going with a group. $5 to get in for 21+ was awesome. 15+ for over 18 but under 21.
