Fantastic food at an excellent price! This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The dining area has a cozy, inviting atmosphere. I appreciate being able to see into the kitchen, which looked very clean. It's also a great place for vegans, as there are numerous options available!
The food was fantastic! The service was excellent. The taro bubble tea was delicious. I really enjoyed the egg fried rice, and I appreciated the vegetarian options they offered!
The staff is friendly, although the presence of a self-service kiosk means that there isn’t much direct interaction with them. The menu features some intriguing choices, including the mozzarella and hot dog spring roll, which I’m pleased to say was delicious. This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I’m excited to return and sample some of the pho menu items they have coming soon.
Dang's Cafe isn't a lot to take in from the outside, but has plenty of flavor bursting from the inside. The new Butternut eatery has been open since January. The location was formerly the Pasian's Italian American restaurant. Simple orange signage hangs outside, making people aware of the Dang good food. Today was my first visit. You are greeted by a tidy bar area that opens up into the dining room. The room is well lit, with plenty of two and four tops adorning the room. I chose the chef's specialty today: Shaken Beef. It shook my to my core. It is a sirloin steak marinated in a soy sauce, garlic and onion marinate. It is finished by a quick fry with wine and served with a nice white rice. The dish let the ingredients speak for themselves. The dish was light and refreshing, while still filling me up and filling me up on a dreary, alleged Spring day. I would highly recommend people checking out Dang's restaurant. More trips are already in my future. I hope to see you there!
Really good broth for pho and has pretty fresh ingredients for everything. The broth is lighter than some other places, but it's a welcome difference. At times, it tastes a little too much like fish sauce, which is okay if you like it. However, it can be overwhelming for those who haven't tried it before. Some people also might like the coagulation of a thicker broth from the gelatin of boiling down different types of bones. Still, really good pho!
