The baked clams... read more I was pleasantly shocked with the food here. Having been in the restaurant business my whole career I know high quality dishes when I see them. The baked clams were hands down the best I have ever had and could eat about twenty of them and want more .The fried Calamari was better than most and was obviously cooked in new clean oil with its nice light color yet still crispy. The Utica Greens were nice too even though I don?t like peppers , I was able to work around them and still really enjoy them. My friend and I both had seafood dishes over pasta. Beautiful shrimp and scallops perfectly cooked and the white wine was lovely. I would have preferred a touch more garlic in the dish but next time I will just request that. Excellent service by a young lady named Katlyn made the entire dinner an exceptional experience. Kudos to this owner on their beautiful establishment .

The restaurant has been there for a while and when trying to decide where to go, Basil Leaf was brought up. Great choice! I am glad we went.

I wished s... read more We visited Syracuse for the National Bowling Tournament and decided to have dinner at your restaurant. First of all, our waitress Lauren was amazing! I wished she could sit down and join us for dinner; she made us laugh and was undoubtedly one of the best servers we've ever encountered! To top it all off, all eight of us enjoyed perfect meals! The Utica greens were incredible and a delightful experience for all of us. Thank you!

My family and I visited based on a recommendation from a local hotel manager, and we're so glad we took his advice. The food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. While the lighting inside might make it feel somewhat dim, the layout of the tables and booths creates an intimate atmosphere, perfect for large gatherings. There's also a spacious bar if you're just looking to enjoy a few drinks with friends. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Syracuse metro area seeking a wonderful evening out with family or friends.

A serve... read more We have dined at this restaurant multiple times, and each visit has been outstanding. This evening, we arrived just after 7 PM to find the place packed. A server, who was off duty and busy setting up Christmas decorations, welcomed us and seated us right away. We didn't have to wait long either at the entrance or at our table. The service was quick and executed perfectly. Our needs were anticipated so well that we never had to ask for a thing. We started with the greens as an appetizer. My wife loved the clam linguini, while I opted for the veal parmesan. The food was amazing, just as it always is. A huge thank you to Candice for making our night so delightful!
