Harvest Wood Grill Tap - Sylmac

First I want to say this place was awesome, under new ownership with a new name coming and interior changes! The great news is the wood fired grill is staying! New name is 1771 Grill Tap. Met one of the owners, some if the staff...all of the long time veterans of the Annapolis restaurant industry. Ok the food...was outstanding. oysters had a smokey flavor with the right about of garlic herbs, the crab dip was very taste too with a little back end heat from some peppers in the mix, served with warm pretzel bread. Both salads were terrific with the grilled chicken on them. The Ceasars with the grilled romaine gave it a pleasant smokey taste along wth the cheese and anchovies. The wedge had a nice twist with pickled onions in the salad. Try this place now...it sounds line it will only get better with the changes that are coming!

Awful service. Tables were dirty and server took for ever to take our order... zero customer service skills. Won't recommend and will never come back.

This restaurant caught my attention because of the tables outside. It was packed so I thought it was going to be good. But I couldn't be more disappointed. I ordered the wood grilled pork. It was very dry and burnt. Not a good taste at all. I did not change it because I would probably take another 30 minutes to replace. My daughter's wings, the breaded ones, were in a pool of grease. Hamburgers were ok. My husband liked the crab cakes. When the waiter gave me the check, automatically charged $22 gratuity. He said ti me just ignore it, but the actual check included anyways. I am not returning to this place. Way too expensive for the quality... Not happy at all.

I came here today with my husband and daughter. This was our first outing since Covid started as a family and it was the perfect day to sit outside. I'm pretty sure this was one of their first days back open to full capacity and with the beautiful weather, being busy as well. The tables were spaced out nicely outside and there seemed to be good Covid precautions happening. I expected to wait, which we did for awhile for food, but they are still figuring things out. Our waitress (I think her name was Gina? But I cannot remember) was working hard and dealing with us (a hungry toddler and me, a hangry pregnant lady), was not an easy task. Every time she came to our table, she had a smile on her face and was delightful. This is definitely a weird time and I can't wait for them to be back up and running. The food was great and we will be back this spring and summer !

Food was great so was the service! We’ll def be back!
