What B R doesn't like about August's Barbeque Sylacauga:
New Pell City location. I was excited when this place opened, but wow are they pricey...$13.65 for a bacon cheese burger, fries and drink. Burger takes 20 to 30min to get and is mediocre at best, fries are very average too. I really wanted to be excited about them and give my business, but that price is too much for what you get imho... Very welcoming and food was great and staff friendly I wish we had one back home!
My order came quickly, it was very tasty. I got a rack of spareribs, so I have lunch tomorrow too.
Nice BBQ restaurant on way to Auburn from Birmingham AL. Nice choices, good sides and good portions. Come hungry because we ended up taking food home me.

There’s so many things to love about this barbecue place. I’ve never had one dish there that I didn’t like. My favorite is their smoked Turkey; it’s the best! Cakes...wonderful. I’ve never had their brisket as they only have it two days a week and they’ve been sold out when I went. I can only assume that the brisket is great.
