The... read more This cafe has recently reopened as The Associate. I live next door to the cafe and I went back yesterday to try it under its new name and it was a shambles. The girl at the register was slow and they got my order wrong 3 times. When I finally got my coffee it was completely undrinkable, so bitter and not pleasant on the palate at all, it literally made me go 'bleurgh' after every sip. Not the right way to start ones morning... Further to this, they have directly copied the food from the cafe next door, Miss Carter Cafe. However, Miss Carter use much better and tasty ingredients, particularly in the 'Veggie Finger' which was actually coined by the Miss Carter Cafe and is one of the many things The Associate has copied from Miss Carter, which is very disappointing and lacks originality. I did try just a ho... read more I went because i think the building is very interesting, indeed, it has a good architecture but the "atmosphere" is a little dead... anyway. I did try just a hot chocolate (4 bucks regular size) and it was really good. If i walk there again sure i'll take other hot chocolate
