Was Rogelio Bernhard at Intermezzo a mag?
Enjoyed a great meal , service was excellent and staff very obliging. On arriving we were ushered to to our table by a young lady with a welcoming smile and asked did we have any preference for seating. We selected a window seat which suited us and our guests well. Meal was delivered promptly and was enjoyed by all. Thank you for lovely experience. View all feedback.
What Everette Ratke dislikes about Intermezzo:
Food: I saw good review of the lamb shoulder, however it could be better with the sauce. It's quite soft, but doesn't have much flavour. The special of the day is deep fried steak, it doesn't taste like beef or pork or chicken, just doesn't have a flavour.
Price: $40 for a main is average, not too expensive.
Environment: it's in a beautiful old building. It's quiet on a Sunday night. No need to queue which is good.... View all feedback.

Had dinner here with my partner's work colleagues, because it was convenient and they had dinner there before and said it was good. I asked whether the meat was free range and they had to say no. It's a little disappointing because somehow I had expected an expensive selling themselves with homemade food, would also value the quality and lifes of their meat. I took the mushroom parpadelle, which was very nice. Not a big fan of truffle normally, but it wasn't too bad in this dish. We also shared the burrata as a starter which was delicious. Service was fine. Wouldn't normally go to a restaurant on such a location, because I would think it's overpriced. This restaurant is a little overpriced, but it does deliver good service and food.
This restaurant has a very authentic Italian meal. The decor is luxurious and has the level of a restaurant. What's more, it is a relaxing dining atmosphere. The service is great, the fresh ingredients are also very good, and their desserts are highly recommended. It is worth trying.
I’d say ‘hands down, the best Italian in Sydney CBD’ but there also isn’t much competition in the area. Service was great and there is an extensive menu however, we were more impressed with the entrees and desserts then the mains. The prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella was so good and so was the panacotta. Nothing beats the actually building and ambience of the GPO so fancy.
