What Newell Padberg doesn't like about The Spice Room:
Don't know how this restaurant gets such high ratings. It's mediocre Indian food at best. I have tried this place three times over the past year, and I truly keep hoping the food would match up to the reviews. Saffron in Darling Harbour is a much better Indian restaurant. I'd give this place a 6.5 out of ten--not worth the effort to go. View all feedback.
We had another wonderful dining exerience in this beautiful restaurant . As expected, the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night but the highly knowledgeable staff took time to help us choose a range of gluten-free dishes to cater for the coeliac in our...party. The meals were delicious and varied and very filling. We could not have had a better experience and will certainly be back.
Great food, friendly and professional staff and service. Drinks menu and options were also excellent. We’re definitely coming back.
Ate here for the fifth time in six years tonight and it’s excellent every time. Lovely service and outstanding food. Beautiful restaurant too.
Hands down best Indian food I have ever had. My partner and I had the banquet and couldn’t fault a thing. The meat was super tender and not grissly like Indian can be. Flavor was amazing and portions were huge.
Excellent Indian restaurant minutes from circular quay train, lrt and ferry terminal. butter huh was excellent. the restaurant full of people and reservations is really necessary. service was friendly and professional.
