This is the third time we were here, and the first time we ate in the restaurant in the back (because we were four people instead of two). It never falls not to please. Great food, comprehensive wine list and friendly, professional service. View all feedback.

If you do not want to get $ 9 for tap water for two people, do not try to try this mediocre restaurant! The waitress did not want us to see the bill properly I had no time to quarrel, so I gave everyone. But well, you will not see me again. View all feedback.

We had dinner here for my 40th. The hosts were attentive and professional. The food was absolutely superb!!! Can not fault anything. Thanks for an amazing evening.
Terrific. Tucked away in the heart of Sydney and slightly off the Main Street, this is a first class restaurant. Friendly Staff and great Service are matched by an excellent menu. We have been here many times and are never disappointed. Well done.
We are regular customers and the food and wine were up to the usual excellent standard. We were a party of 3: Shared the Salumi, Scallops and Arancini entree's which were great, my persona; favourite was the scallops but the whole experience was divine! We also shared a risotto and a pappardelle dish which were beautiful and the food was complimented by a great bottle of Sicilian white (Alessandro Viola). If you haven't been here yet you should definitely try Devine's its a little like Tina Turner Simply The Best!
Amazing food and good atmosphere. Lots of Italian older couples or group of Italian men which indicates the authenticity of the place
We had a wide variety of food and it was all excellent, service was great too and we found a great Sicilian wine on the extensive wine list. The ambience was great too, busy but not too loud. Overall we had a delightful evening.

The Izzillo brothers have made a triumphant return to the Sydney CBD with a vast and well-curated wine selection and top-notch service. The staff strike the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism, making diners feel right at home. The menu is both intriguing and easy to navigate, making it a must-visit spot that you'll likely find yourself returning to week after week.

I had a fantastic dining experience with excellent wines by the glass (that Chablis was delightful!). The linguine was delicious. The service was thoughtful, with great recommendations from our waiter David and a warm, professional introduction from the manager. As a solo diner, I found this restaurant to be a welcoming sanctuary and the perfect escape from a busy conference.

Best wine bar in Sydney with delicious food. We were having a stressful day and within a moment here we felt at ease, very relaxing and great ambience. Brendan provided the best service we have ever experienced and went out of his way to make our time enjoyable giving us great recommendations not just wine and food (though you must try the zucchini flowers) but beyond this for our entire sydney trip. A list of the best bars that only the locals know that made a significant difference to the rest of our time. Thank you great experience!
Very disappointed. We arrived before a show and explained to the waitress that we had only 90 minutes to eat. The waitress was very good in making suggestions for entree which we followed. They arrived quickly and were tasty but expensive. Our drink orders were slow to arrive and I didn't even think to look at the prices before we ordered but we ordered 8 glasses of wine which cost us $257! The main meals arrived and only 1 person out of our group was happy with his meal. My meal came out over 10 minutes after the others and when I tasted it I was shocked as it was awful. It was so salty it was inedible. Two other members of our group tasted it also and agreed that it was way too salty. I told the waitress and she took it back and offered me another meal from the menu. When it arrived, everyone else had finished their meals, which was understandable but it had little flavour. I ended up leaving it. Thank goodness I ordered a side of chips which tasted like MacDonalds chips. One lady in our group ordered a Diet Coke but cancelled the order after waiting 20 minutes for that to arrive. Then we asked for the bill and decided to check it to see what we were paying for and noticed a $86 bottle of wine added to the bill that we hadn't ordered or consumed. They removed this from the bill when queried. Our bill came to $922 but everyone in our group agreed that the restaurant was overpriced and the food didn't live up to the price tag. One person in our group was physically ill after leaving the restaurant. Do yourself a favour and seek an alternative food venue!
I booked a table for 2 for a 12:15pm when I arrived I was cordially greeted yet even though I’d booked for lunch and there were plenty of tables I was shown to a high table at the front of the restaurant which would have been OK if we were just having a drink and some nibbles but lunch? I ordered a G&T and waited for my learned colleague who was equally unimpressed and asked for a normal table! Once we moved passed the table issue we ordered wasn’t disappointed with the food or service from the Anchovies, to the risotto and the biscotti about the only thing I’d change would be the biscotti but that’s a changed for next visit Staff were friendly and helpful and unobtrusive but always around when needed The wine list is extensive, excellent but expensive should look at putting a few better value wines on the list … not sure what the cheapest was but think there are very good wines that are better value! But I we will be back again as the food here is consistently good on my visits
This was our second visit to De Vine and it was as good as the first. The place was buzzing even though it was a weekday night. Excellent menu. It was an exceedingly hard choice but in the end I had the kingfish crudo as a starter, the spatchcock as a main with shared sides of corn and fries. The first two dishes were delicious and the spatchcock was perhaps the best I have tasted being exceedingly juicy. The only small downside was the Panna Cotta which only had a very subtle vanilla flavour. Good cocktail and wine list. Service was very efficient even though it was a busy night. Will absolutely return.
This place is amazing! The food was incredible. I had the Prawn risotto and my wife had the gnocchi. Now let’s talk about the bar tenders: one word, awesome. We met them the night before when we came for a night cap. They provided great suggestions of other places to try the next day. We decided to come back for dinner and it didn’t disappoint. It’s not over priced with great food and service. The bartender recognized us from the night before and started asking about our day. He then recommended a couple after dinner drinks! Amazing! I had the Carmel old fashioned and my wife had the espresso martini! Wow! If you’re visiting Sydney this is a must stop. We highly recommend!

The ambiance was really great and cozy, and the duck pappardelle was fantastic.
Due to flight delay, our arrival was delayed till the time for the last order, but they were kind enough to wait for us and provided wonderful dining experience. This is really nice restaurant for customer hospitality.
