Found out that Hyde Park Barracks has an awesome indoor-outdoor cafe open 7 days a week, and it's pet friendly! Good burgers, great salads, and not expensive. Well worth a visit. I'm checking it out next weekend for breakfast. View all feedback.

The good: clean toilets, attractive communal tables, friendly staff, good beer and wine selection, vegetarian options galore. The average: the food was pretty ordinary and didn't reflect the description on the menu. Value is average. View all feedback.
Came here on work lunch and chose the chicken pot pie, which was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Also have a great selection of craft beers and of course being on the grounds of the Barracks is an extra bonus
This hidden gem is a wonderful alfresco dining spot near Hyde Park in the city. I visited with my colleagues for a Friday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. They also have an excellent selection of craft beers. Highly recommended! :))
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Bakehouse, so conveniently located and easy access with the pram. Myself and my two boys sat out in the courtyard and enjoyed a delicious lunch of tasty burgers, pork and fennel sausage rolls and brownies. Bakehouse really is an oasis in the middle of the city.
"This restaurant is located in a historic area that is safe and quiet, within walking distance from the central business district. They have a good menu with delicious food options, as well as a few dessert choices. However, the coffee selection is not the best, in fact, quite the opposite. I apologize for the disappointment."
