Kenny's Pizza - Sydney

We ended up here because we were going to Amedeo's but it was closed. The pizza was average takeout fare, the kind you would think was great after being at the bar all night. The garlic sticks weren't very garlicky or cheesy. A disappointing evening to say the least

The doniars we had were terrible very little meat I had the sub the bun was dry . It wasn't busy still took awhile.

I have to give this place a 5 even though we did not like our meal! We had been hearing about donairs and being from the States wondered what this was about. Someone explained it was a special meat and a special sauce so we wanted to try one.The man that waited on us at Kenny's was very nice and very patient with us. One of us got the donairs sub and the other 2 got the slice and a drink. Apparently the donairs sauce is sweet and none of us really cared for it. Not Kenny's fault. The food itself was fresh and well prepared, just a taste we were not crazy about.So if you are seeing and hearing about donairs...it is a pizza with slices of meat, cheese, onion, cubes of tomato and a very sweet, sugary sauce of some type. It wasn't our thing, but it might be yours.

Good prices for a nice meal for a family of four if you are tired of spending $100 or more for restaurants on a trip. Would definitely go again!
