Panda Express - Sycamore
Panda Express
Description
Panda Express presents a mixed dining experience, where the flavors can shine amidst operational shortcomings. While patrons rave about the tasty orange chicken and fresh teriyaki options, consistency in availability is a glaring issue. Many customers have encountered disappointment with menu items frequently unavailable, especially during peak hours. Service, although generally friendly, can sometimes falter, leading to long waits and overwhelmed staff. Despite some negative aspects, including underwhelming portions and a lack of essential sides like chow mein, the restaurant maintains a level of cleanliness and overall satisfaction that keeps diners intrigued, although alternatives may be plentiful nearby.

What Jaidyn Herron dislikes about Panda Express:
I walked in and was immediately greeted by a very rude expression from a staff member named Karla. She appeared to be unkind to other customers as well. Overall, not a good experience. View all feedback.

They forgot part of our order and asked my partner to walk back and forth to prove that the item was missing, even though he showed them the order on his phone. I've never experienced a restaurant requesting this, not even at fast food places. Frankly, I feel like my partner and I were discriminated against because of our appearance. It might be beneficial to provide better training for your staff. By the way, a dishonest person could have easily claimed the missing item was left in their car to get something for free, so that system might need some reconsideration. They also forgot our sauce and silverware!
Overall, I really enjoy dining at Panda Express. Although the wait was a bit longer than usual, which affected the freshness of the food, it was still quite tasty. It seemed that some of the staff were not very well trained, and the woman who assisted us seemed a bit overwhelmed and apologetic. However, the cleanliness of the restaurant and the way we were treated was satisfactory. The Teriyaki chicken, which wasn’t shown in the review, was served fresh.
I consider it to be a typical American Chinese restaurant. The food is quite good.
