Feedback
The dining scene in Swords has been buzzing with diverse offerings, but opinions vary widely. While some establishments like K Sixty Seven have garnered praise for their vibrant atmosphere, exceptional service, and delicious food, others fall short. The Harp Bar, once a local favorite, now faces criticism for poor food quality and declining service standards. Diners reported disappointing experiences, from soggy pizzas reminiscent of frozen meals to a general lack of attentiveness from staff. Despite some positive encounters at other venues, it appears that Swords' culinary reputation is currently at a crossroads, leaving patrons seeking better dining experiences.
Great pub, with great food ,Had the Chicken tenders with their home made Sauce. Great atmosphere in the pub. This is one of them that's well worth a visit.
I went to this hotel and found that they charge for parking, even if you are dining at the restaurant or bar. The reception staff were unfriendly and it seems like they are only interested in getting money from customers. However, the bar staff were helpful and that was the only positive aspect of the experience. There are definitely better dining options in the Swords area.
I have always been a fan of the Courtyard restaurant in Swords, previously dubbing it the best in the area. Unfortunately, the restaurant has since closed. I recently dined at the Harp bar and was disappointed with the standard of the food. While the serving staff were doing their best, it seemed that the kitchen staff lacked the necessary training in food presentation. When my meal arrived, it looked like leftover scraps rather than a proper dish. I brought this issue to the attention of the staff following a birthday celebration with 17 guests where we spent approximately 900 euros on food and drinks. However, there was no follow-up on my complaint. The customer service at the Carnegie Court has clearly declined. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant in the future. The attached photo shows the disappointing meal, untouched. It is unfortunate to write such a negative review about a once great dining spot like the Harp.
We had such a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely fantastic: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, extremely attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. Highly recommend and will definitely be back soon! Thank you guys
