Contribute FeedbackLocated conveniently opposite the railway station, Queens Tap is an inviting old-fashioned pub that offers a varied selection of beers and ales, alongside a limited, yet satisfying food menu. While many patrons rave about the lively atmosphere, attentive staff, and fantastic Sunday lunches, others have faced issues with inconsistent food quality, unkempt service, and communication mishaps. The venue also features live music, making it a great spot for gatherings. Despite some negative experiences, many agree that the pub's charm and the potential for enjoyable outings make it a place worth visiting.
Probably our 5th Sunday roast at the Queens Tap. As always, superb quality and generous portions. Very highly recommended.
I met some friends in the Queens Tap for a few drinks and dinner. Although the food menu was limited there was still a reasonable range of food availble including pizza which I ordered. When the pizza arrived it was tasty, much bigger tjan I'd expected it to be and good value for what I'd paid. The only slight downside to the pub is that the garden is the smoking area.
Great bear, ale and stout selection! would recommend. Came on an evening good music good vibes great staff great night before catching my train home
Lovely staff, music great and love the atmosphere definitely come here for a pint if coming out the train station or around town
First time for me but it won't be the last ! We had a splendid evening. Wide selection of drinks and super staff. Rachel who served us was friendly helpful and an outstanding ambassador for the pub. Thank you Claire
