based on all the write-ups I have made a snake and was really excited to try smarts fish and chips. I would say the chips were 3 and the fish was really delicious 4 but the first time I showed up I forgot it was cash only so had to go to another shop and have to say the chips of the other shop were better and the fish just as well (trying a one-off? The best place in highworth for fish chips. the fish was cooked exactly correctly, the teig tasty. the chips also beautiful. very good value for money

What can I say about smarts fish bar ,Except the food is Delicious ,it's always hot and tasty, the fish is beautifully cooked and moist, and the chips are really fluffy ,not soggy or hard like some shops, the portion sizes are huge and really fill you up ,the shop is always immaculately clean, and run by very friendly people, due to obviously covid measures you have to wear a mask inside the shop and they only allow 3 people in at a time, there is hand sanitiser available, you can phone up and order your food in advance, and a thing to remember is that they accept cash payments only, so if you are looking for fish and chips pay smarts a visit,this is just a quick update to let you know that smarts now take cards as well as cash.
Delicious fish and chips freshly cooked. Not greasy. Spotlessly clean shop. Fast service. Would recommend.
