Nice pub, the majority of the space reserved for dining apart from the small snug. The food is ok but very average. Eg chicken breast in a swamp of sauce with chips. Been here three times now and nothing stand out really. Shame as it could be great with a better menu and chef. View all feedback.

The rose and crown is a beautiful pub with a great selection of drinks for every taste and the eating is wonderful. a great atmosphere.
Very popular pub with the local, so always a good sign. many ales on tap, sharps doombar, sea fury and atlantic pale ale, but brains and exmoor also. friendly atmosphere of couples, friends, young and old. decor is a collection of retro signs, noo too much to take away the charm of the place. dog-friendly and biscuit treats four-legged males.
Decent little pub. I only had a few checky pints in there but I would go back.
Wonderful family run pub only discovered it last year great selection of ales, fair prices all round fabulous establishment highly recommended
