Since my original for a coffee, I've often been back. The food is excellent. The ingredients were simple and fresh. The Lake Bass was (after my wife), great. The chicken and avocado burger was delicious and not too heavy. Prices were good, the service was very friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. View all feedback.

The place in general is great, food and drink is absolutely fine, all of the staff bar one are lovely. That one woman, short grey hair, older lady, ruined the whole thing with how rude she was. Zero customer care and zero manners. OK food, nice waiter but appalling, rude and prejudiced owner. Out for a special Mother’s Day, and my son with complex medical needs was expressing his excitement at being out with his family and enjoying himself (albeit a little loud). These are special times making precious memories and no need to be marred by a nasty inappropriate comment alluding to the fact that my son should not be enjoying himself, “I have 47 patrons to consider” Shame he didn’t feel it necessary to tell his table of friends that face timing loudly was upsetting his patrons!!!! If you have nothing nice to say don’t say it, what happened to be kind!!! Will NEVER step foot in this place again!!!!
We visited here tonight , (Saturday). Hadn’t booked beforehand so just walked in around 8pm. A table for the two of us was available and we had a lovely meal. Served by Olivia who was great! Food was fresh and not too long to wait. Goats cheese starter was yum and for main I had chicken fajitas which was fab. So pleased to see Jacks open again in the evenings!
Lovely lunch with friends. Nice welcome and was show to our table straight away but we had booked a table which I would recommend as it's always busy. Our waitress was so lovely and attentive sadly didn't get her name. We were not rushed for our order and even after we had finished our meal we were not rushed to leave our table. There were five of us and we all enjoyed our meal. From pasta to burgers, pulled pork, chicken and vegetarian meal was all excellent . Perfect atmosphere and the music in the back ground was great too.
Went in for a coffee, shown to a table then completely ignored. The lady went to get an order from people at table next to us and completely ignored me so walked out Not happy
Nice decor inside, nice tasting food presented well. Old waitress or manageress very blunt and couldn’t manage a smile. The food took far too long to come out, about 40 mins and I had to eat in 5 mins as I had an appointment. This was a ciabatta and a jacket potato with cheese by the way.
