TacoTime - Swift Current

As chain food goes, it was par for Taco Time. However, the staff appeared annoyed that we interrupted their afternoon, did not smile and frankly were very off putting. Management needs to tell them to smile at people once in a while it helps.

The food was good and location was neat and tidy but they seemed a wee bit understaffed for supper time. Our order took longer than expected to be ready and there was a gap of time where folks lined up behind us but nobody was on till. They did do a great job fixing a part of our order that was incorrectly made.

This is just another Taco Time restaurant but what made my experience memorable was the customer service. I was impressed that the server at the till was not a temp foreign worker; there was not a language barrier so she understood my order and got everything right. She also made her way through the restaurant engaging customers in conversation and ensuring that everyone was happy with their dining experience. I was impressed and I will be back.

Stop for quick lunch, order chicken burrito , the taste of chicken is not good,and its soggy and blend. had before it was nice, may be new cook ????

Taco Time used to be my fast food of choice in Regina until they all changed hands and quality collapsed. Driving back from Calgary I made a quick pit stop in Swift Current for fuel and food, sadly I see the same thing has happened in Swift Current that happened in Regina. The Mexi-fries tasted as bad as the potato cakes they serve at Best Western buffet breakfasts. The meat in the hard shell tacos had no flavour at all, all it needed was a shake of pepper to improve. Service was slow and dead-pan, I was barely acknowledged by the server, I could have forgiven this if the food was up to long-ago past standards. The lettuce, tomato and water was very good, if I ever go back this is what I’ll order. I complained to Taco Time about the deteriorating quality of their Regina stores and it fell on deaf ears, got one little email acknowledgement doubting my experience.
