The service at this restaurant is excellent, but I personally did not enjoy the food. The chicken can be dry, so I recommend ordering a side of sauce to accompany your meal. View all feedback.
From favourable TA reviews we stopped for lunch on a drive from Regina to Medicine Hat. Diner style in an industrial complex just off Highway 1 Main Street exit north side. Extensive sandwich selection plus burgers and a few Mennonite dishes. Ordered the Chicken & Cheddar Cheese Melt with Sweet Potato Fries plus a Lumberjack Sandwich - corned beef, bacon, cheese & mustard with a side of salad. The melt and sandwich were served between really thick slices of bread. Both were very good as were the fries and salad. Go hungry! Friendly service, credit cards accepted (prices a bit high but worth it), washrooms clean.
Stopped for Lunch traveling to Regina. It's a bit off the highway but worth the extra couple of minutes to find it. This is the kind of local jewel I appreciate. Not fancy decor or building. Just friendly people, great staff and great food. I had the pemmican burger, which is bison with Saskatoon berry relish. Tasty with unique flavours merged together. Enjoyed a side of onion rings as well. Local food providers and a taste of Saskatchewan. Some interesting twists on the menu I will be back whenever I travel this way Much more to try
Great lunch. Lots of choice but we enjoyed the Mennonite options which were both traditional and unique.
This was the first time eating here for us! The waitress was very friendly and the food quick in coming. I had the Mennonite Nachos and my husband had one of their wraps-both were filling and quite tasty.
This restaurant is a classic, family owned and operated diner that serves hearty portions of home cooked food with a few local flourishes. Many of these flourishes have to do with amping up the size and taste of the entrees. If you had a lean breakfast and your stomach is growling, this is the ticket. Service was timely and we were in and out quickly. We paid at the counter so as soon as you are ready to go, just walk up. I really loved my meal.
