This restaurant is fairly new to our little town, so I was excited to finally try it. To my disappointment, they had a sign up letting me know that they were understaffed. We agreed to follow through and prepared for a delay in getting our food. What a surprise to get the best service from Maddie and prompt service to boot. We left very satisfied and will definitely be visiting again. We love Kokita! View all feedback.

Went in for some sushi at lunch. I ordered a beer and my wife ordered at hot tea. There was no sugar when tea was brought out. My wife asked for sugar and I asked for another beer and it took waiving the server down 10 minutes later to remind them of ourrequest. Some co-workers and I go to lunch there often and its always great. Today, we sat down and ordered our food immediately because we always know what we want. The waiter got to our table and dumped two full glasses of sprite and water in my lap. She apologized several times but proceeded to almost dump drinks on me again twice. After she dumped the drinks on me, she didnt even offer me a towel. She started cleaning the floor. We went to the desk for my co-workers to pay and they fully expected me to pay. UMMMM no, im still dripping. She went and got the manager which was very aggravated that I wouldnt pay but told me it was fine. Overall, decent food but they can improve on their service. I ordered beef udon all they did was put boiled unseasoned beef in miso soup with udon noodles. There was way too much soup. The katsu curry wasn't too bad but way too bland to be considered curry. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
