Mansel and Amy made us very welcome. This eaterie on a beautiful beach offers parking and very welcome home made pizza and lovely cake, nice laid back vibe well worth the trek.
This place looks like a rickety shack, at the end of a country lane. Ignore that, because I had the loveliest blueberry pancakes I've ever eaten today, and the filter coffee was great too. £2.49 for a stack of 3 fluffy fresh pancakes, with juicy blueberries, laden with just the right amount of maple syrup. All taken on the patio ok, patch of concrete) overlooking the beautiful dunes and beach, barely 5 minutes walk from the cafe.Service was friendly, but the place was quiet. I suspect it is a well kept secret for now, but won't be for long. I only wish I had gone in sooner, as we were leaving today, so I didn't get a chance to try the veggie breakfast £5 including coffee). They do a full English for a similar price, too. I will be back for a lot more!
We'd been to Broughton beach for a few hours having returned to the car park decided to give this little café a try we weren't really ready for lunch so just had 2 coffees on this occasion which were fairly priced served with a smile. It was a pleasure to drink quality filter coffee sat outside in the sun gazing down over the sandunes out to sea.
If you make the journey out to Llanmadoc for Broughton bay Whitesands, then this little café on the campsite is well worth a visit. Really friendly, the best hot chocolate with marshamallows (according to 14yo expert), tasty sandwiches and delicious home baked cakes 6 sated family diners thoroughly recommend.
