We've been here many times, but not since the lockdown. Our food was delicious – the ham was thick, the steak was tender, and the burger was enormous. The portions were generous. Went for Sunday lunch with my family and whilst I cannot fault the dinner it was lovely and tasty, however we were all crammed in like sardines. No distance between tables and literally sitting on top of eachother. It felt very unsafe and pretty pointless...wearing a mask to your table when you can touch the stranger sitting next to you. I almost sat down to eat before quiz night, as I always enjoy the food here. The Sampi chips are perfect! I also tried the mixed grill, which was huge—I couldn't finish it! My son-in-law loved it, too. The staff are amazing, and the prices are great.
I had a lovely Sunday lunch with my family, and I have to say that the bark was the best I've tasted in a long time. The lamb was also absolutely delicious. The staff was fantastic and very friendly. I highly recommend this place!
Had a nice meal today fish, music baptized and chips large portions and the waitress was so helpful and polite big prices and clean pub
Recently visited , food nice , service good , staff friendly and very helpful . Good value for money , would visit again
