What wispSwansea doesn't like about Klay Oven:
Our takeaway last night was disappointing. The chicken pasanda was bland and the onion bhajis were served without any salad or mint sauce. We have been dining here for years and have been happy with most of our meals. We did not recognize the staff at all, so we are wondering if there is new management. Please return to the way you were before! View all feedback.
Been dining here for many years. Never disappointed. Staff always warm and friendly with excellent knowledge of the menu. I love the Chicken tikka with salad and Aloo chat. Reasonably priced too. See you soon.
Really excellent restaurant we regularly go to This is one of the best we've been to and consistently good. It does get busy because it's so popular, so watch out for those peak times Never had a bad meal and enthusiastically recommend it to all.
Fantastic meal I attended with my family for my birthday the food was fantastic really tasty and catered for all palettes from mild curry (Korma) to hot (Vindaloo) great portion size and service was attentive
Ordered over the phone . On arrival 2 staff members arguing with each other at the bar. Even though I’d been given a time for collection the order hadn’t even been sent to the kitchen, just as well as it was wrong . 25 mins later it turned up. They weren’t busy as there were only 3 people in the sit down area. The curry was mediocre. Never again.
Food is exceptional. Trying to pay by card over the phone is the weirdest experience ever. First, they tell you someone will call you back to take your card details but process the order and delivery anyway. Then nobody calls you back, called three times, and kept getting told someone would have to call me back. Then the delivery guy turns up and said he was told to ask me for cash, I explained I didn't have cash, and that I had confirmed I would pay by card. He hesitated for a minute or two, then left. Then I finally get called back to take my card details, right when I'm in the middle of eating with my family, which was exactly what I wanted to avoid. This has happened both times I have ordered delivery, The food is brilliant, some of the best Indian food in the whole of Swansea, paying for your meal over the phone by card is like doing the Krypton Factor after ten pints of Cider. My advice is that if you are going to get a delivery, have the cash instead.
