Since Starvin' Jacks closed, this has become our regular weekly stop off for a great mug of coffee. Warm, friendly, quiet and relaxing .. don't let it's position next to the bus station put you off with its drop-outs, smokers and drunks outside the station doors. This is a gem and a nice calming oasis to relax in for an hour or so. Best flat white in Swansea .... full bodied, dark and very strong!! Love it!! View all feedback.
What Uplands resident doesn't like about Coffee Bean:
My wife and I stopped by for coffee and inquired about the availability of plant-based milks. Unfortunately, we were informed that they did not offer any. When my wife inquired about the possibility of them carrying plant milks in the future, the manager/owner responded with hostility and negativity. Due to this unpleasant interaction, we decided to leave without placing an order. We do not plan on returning to this... View all feedback.
The Coffee Bean is a charming and cozy spot for enjoying a cup of coffee and a small snack. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly staff who deliver your order to your table, giving you the chance to sit back and unwind instead of waiting in line.
I ended up ordering a pepperoni pizza for myself, but it was not like any pizza I had ever tasted. It was supposed to be stone-baked, but it was so tough that I couldn't even cut through it, especially in the middle. The toppings had strange white cubes mixed in with the green peppers and pepperoni, which I assume was some type of fake mozzarella that hadn't melted. It was unpleasant and seemed like a cheap frozen pizza. When we were leaving, I mentioned my disappointment to the waitress, but she just shrugged and walked away. Overall, I felt like I was ripped off, paying £15 for essentially just two cups of tea. I hope this restaurant goes out of business soon so they can't continue to deceive customers. Take a look at my photos and try to figure out what the white cubes are.

I met up with friends at this charming coffee shop with a wonderful variety of cakes. The red velvet cake was especially delicious! I also enjoyed a white chocolate hot chocolate drink, which was a delightful treat. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place and will certainly be visiting again soon.
We stopped by for a coffee and a snack at this cozy cafe with a pleasant atmosphere and the inviting scent of freshly brewed coffee. We opted for a delicious toasted tea cake to accompany our coffee, but couldn't resist the temptations of the tempting cakes on display. We'll have to save them for our next visit. Make sure to keep an eye out for the sandwich boards outside the cafe, as it is located next to the information center.
