For me, it’s about the experience, the sum of the ambiance, the hosts, the wine lust and of course the food as the starring protagonist. When you put together an impeccable, non pretentious yet...freshly delicious Cesar Salad (that despite being a classic it tastes innovative) and you add great wine and an after dinner conversation with the creators of that experience, then you know that you found a place that it’s worth to come back. Chapeau to Margaret Doug!!! I’ll be back!

Have been here a number of times without providing a review ... was hard to believe that they could be SO CONSISTENTLY GOOD ... as shown by the many reviews by... read more Have been here a number of times without providing a review ... was hard to believe that they could be SO CONSISTENTLY GOOD ... as shown by the many reviews by others. But they are! We have tried most everything on their menu now, the...last being the Prime Rib. I stayed away from this, not because I don't like it, but because I did not think I would find anything as good as what I was used to in Montana the Dakota's. I was wrong ... having had it twice now, I can say it is better than most I have had in the U.S. Excellent cut, portion, spicing, perfectly cooked ... with an au jus that is a cut above the rest . Our son also had the Prime Rib last night said it was better than what he had at the Keg in Saskatoon a few days earlier. Then there is the cream soup, spinach salad, rolls, appetizers, deserts ... all delivered to the table by great servers. Finally the Wine List ... need to go to the Big City to find something comparable. This place is firing on all cylinders as good as we have found anywhere. Keep up the good work Margret Doug, we really appreciate it.

It is an absolutely superb dining experience in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Over the years we have enjoyed grilled bone-in Berkshire pork chops, grilled veal chops, rack of lamb, smoked salmon bisque, scallops, mushrooms, desserts, et al.We always feel we are invited dinner guests with our friends, Margaret and Doug, the owners, rather than just restaurant customers. Delightful people and great food has and will continue to provide pleasant, long-lasting memories. Tom and DickUSA
